The author of "Living in Spain: Teach, Work, Study & Intern" did what she is writing to you about. Namely, she lived in Spain - for 6 years; she taught English there - her first year, in Madrid; she worked there - for a radio station, for an English-owned satellite dish company and for a Spanish attorney as his interpreter and marketing specialist; and she studied Spanish there - on an ongoing basis, off and on for the entire time, at private language schools.

Kimberly Haber now owns her own company, Adelante, LLC, which is focused on anything and everything that has to do with getting people to experience Spain. Adelante, LLC, sends people abroad to study Spanish, recruits for a new and innovative Internship program based in Spain, sends women interested in working as au pairs to live with Spanish families and consults with a variety of companies all focused on getting Americans to travel and live and work and study in places other than their own backyards.

She has a degree from UCSB in Business Economics that, although was a good time for 4 years, hasn't really had much to do with her life focus. She also has corporate sales and marketing experience working with professional sports teams (the Anaheim Angels and the Mighty Ducks), small mom-&-pop companies and larger technology in education corporations. None of which affected her and changed her in the way that her time in Spain did. Creating Adelante, LLC, was a conscious decision to focus on the part of her life that meant the most and to encapsulate that life experience into products and services that could be - should be - passed along to others.

The hope is that you will ultimately have the same sort of positive, unforgettable life experience in Spain that Kimberly did, and that you will have it sooner than later.
