“Things are going well here!  The internship experience has been invaluable.  It’s immersive, challenging and rewarding at the same time.  I get to engage with many students of all ages and participate in classes with different teachers.  It is good because I can get a sense of what age group I would like, but because it’s not a set schedule with the same students, it’s hard to develop a rapport with them.  I think to get the most out this particular language school internship, a longer internship would be even better.  

The schedule is busy during the week with the internship, as it is in the evening and I have language classes in the morning.  So I have time to explore the city on the weekends.  One of the best things about this experience is meeting the new people, both locals and solo visitors like myself.  I’m lucky to have met a few people at the school during Spanish lessons who are in a similar age group to me.  We get along pretty well and it’s been great getting to know them. The family that I am living with has been great, really warm, kind and welcoming.”
