Wildlife Conservation and Animal Sciences
Adelante Abroad is one of the few Intern Abroad programs that provide unique summer programs for students in animal and veterinary sciences, wildlife conservation and horticulture during the summer in Scotland. This program is also referred to as observation and research. It a hybrid of an internship and an education/research-based program. While there is an emphasis on research and clinical experience, there is also hands-on, work experience to be gained from it as well.
Within this program, students are placed in the following fields: agricultural business, wildlife conservation, horticulture, Royal Zoological Society studies, animal science research with farm animals and veterinary practices. These internships and observation & research opportunities are rigorous and competitive, yet flexible to fit the research interest of the student. At the same time, you will be working with esteemed professionals, practicing veterinarians and researchers in the field. All placements are limited.
